Migrationlab Co-Design Workshop

at The Hague University of Applied Sciences

April 26, 2017

In preparation for the Peace through Culture, a citizen's dialogue conference, which took place at the Peace Palace on May 10th, 2017, Migrationlab organized and facilitated a Co-Design Workshop and Welcome to the Living Room experience for 50 young people of The Hague University of Applied Sciences and the Migrationlab Network. During the conference our founder Laura M. Pana also facilitated the roundtable on the topics of inclusiveness and citizens' engagement.

More details and photos about the conference are available here

The aim of the citizens’ dialogue was to catalyse citizens' initiatives by providing a platform for co-working in order to gain new insights into how to build more cohesive communities. It engaged an international and intergenerational audience from local cultural practitioners, students and young people of diverse backgrounds to high level policy-makers and entrepreneurs.

The Peace through Culture, a citizen's dialogue is initiated by European Cultural Foundation and organized in collaboration with Carnegie Foundation (Peace Palace), the European Commission Representation in the Netherlands, the Municipality of the Hague, The Hague University of Applied Sciences and Migrationlab. The conference took place within the framework of the European Cultural Foundation Princess Margriet Award for Culture on 9 May (Europe Day.
