ABOUT ME
My passion for languages and for exploring new ways to engage audiences via different channels has led me to an international career in communications in different industries, such as private, media, and advertising for a decade. In 2014, I became a freelancer with more focus on the social and cultural fields.
The same year, I also founded Migrationlab, a non-profit organisation, which explores new ways of communication in public space between culturally diverse communities with their direct participation. Furthermore, I work in close collaboration with international companies and institutions: using Migrationlab's methodology, I facilitate a participatory process for their employees and stakeholders to be able to work on complex topics, such as diversity, inclusion, social cohesion, migration, culture, social entrepreneurship.
Besides running the Migrationlab Foundation, I've been managing all the online & offline communication of the organisation and its projects, which resulted in a wide visibility in major media across Europe and USA, including mentions by the renowned design critic and New York Times Contributor Alice Rawsthorn in her series “Design and the Refugee Crisis” on her Twitter and Instagram accounts (2016) and in her latest book “Design as an Attitude” (2018); as well as invitations to speak at international events.
I split my free time between travelling, running, reading, museums, yoga, art, practicing writing together with the literary group Kollektiv Sprachwechsel, and getting inspiration by walking the city. I often document these journeys and share my impressions mainly on my Instagram account.
